Understanding user roles within the Pilot Voice portal

    There are two kinds of user roles for Pilot Voice seats: Office Manager and Basic User. This article explains the main differences between the two roles.

    User Roles

    There are two kinds of user roles for Pilot Voice seats: Office Manager and Basic User. 


    Office Manager 
    • A few selected people in the office
    • Serve as administrators for entire domain
    • Must call Pilot to add/remove users
    • Can edit information for all domain users 
    • Can edit name/email address associated with an extension
    • Can reset user information, prompt password and voicemail PIN setup for other users, and force password resets

    Basic User
