Route a DID to your Pilot Voice auto attendant

This guide walks through two methods of routing direct inward dialing (DID) to your Auto Attendant.

    Introduction

DIDs are useful in a few different situations—they allow each user to be on a call simultaneously and they allow callers to directly dial a specific user or group.

DIDs can also route to your Auto Attendant, providing the caller with a menu of options or pre-recorded message. Often businesses will direct their public-facing phone numbers to an Auto Attendant, which then serves as a virtual receptionist.

There are two ways to route a DID to an Auto Attendant in the Pilot Voice portal. This tutorial covers both ways, so you can pick your poison!
